WHERE HAVE I BEEN?! | College Catchup

I cannot even begin to describe how amazing my first year of college has been! Joining a sorority, football games, tailgating, themed parties, formals, spring break, meeting girls who I now call my best friends, ordering pizza at two in the morning, sisterhood events, random nights in, the fact that fast food is acceptable to eat, gaining the freshman 15 (well 12..), story time after crazy nights, living in the best dorm, getting straight A's, being independent and not to mention accountable for all your actions, let's just say that I am in love with all things college. I can't believe my first year is already over *shed's tear* but in two short months I will be back in action! (and fingers crossed hopefully with a car too)

I don't know about you guys, but leggings are the only pants I can seem to muster up the energy to put on in the Wintertime (shout out to LF's fleece-lined leggings!) Leggings have the ability to look completely horrendous (those who wear them like jeans and pair them with a shirt that doesn't cover their bum) or when styled right, look sort of trendy. I've always been a fan of when celebs wear leggings or workout clothes, but layer it with a flowy tee, denim jacket, a scarf, and huge sunglasses (like here). This is kind of what Blake Lively is doing here, except she obviously isn't working out since this was taken on the GG set two years ago! Alas, I am in love with her outfit and how cute she looks even though she's only wearing basics. I recreated the look all for less than the price of just her bag!

NEW IN | Makeup & Jewelry

Here are a few things I picked up in the makeup and jewelry department last week. I don't really wear makeup anymore (what has college done to me?!) but after catching up on my favorite YouTube gurus, it got me in the mood to buy some! Mulch is the perfect shade of gold eye shadow and Nocturnelle was a more daring buy, as my M.A.C palette is rather neutral, but it is a really pretty purpley-pink color! M.A.C's Sheer Plum is my very first lipstick I've bought from them, and it is a neutral browney-red color with a lustre finish. Lastly, these tarnished gold rings are from Brandy Melville. How cool is that exclamation point?!

BARGAIN BUY | Steve Madden Wyliee

I got these shoes from Shiekh Shoes online and they were only $26.95! I've had these shoes for a while now, but I haven't had a chance to blog about them yet! This is my third pair of Steve Madden shoes that I have found on a bargain, and I hope it's not the last. They are super comfy to walk in and the heel is not too low or high, making them great to wear casually in the daytime as well. I would recommend sizing up a half size (I usually wear a 9 in Steve Madden shoes, but purchased these in a 9.5) They also have them available on the Steve Madden website on sale for $39.99! 

Long Time No Blog...

The courts have reached a verdict. I am a horrible blogger! Guilty as charged. While I have been embarking on the wonderful journey they call college, I have failed to take my blog with me, and for that I am sorry! Being home over Thanksgiving break has reminded me of how much I used to love blogging and I miss it terribly! I am going to try to blog all winter break (which is in two short weeks) and even while I am at school. That being said, the content of my blog may shift to more lifestyle posts and college related things, but this is a depiction of my life, so when things change, my blog naturally will as well. Thank you to all my viewers who continue to follow my blog and I appreciate each and every one of you!

Anyway back to the point of this post! Everyone that knows me knows that Christmas is my favorite time of the year! Not only for the prezzies (maybe a little!) but everyone just seems happier and joyful this time of year, not to mention it's my main man Jesus' birthday! Here are a few things that I am asking for this year.
