Last night I felt like trying something different with my nails and attempt "nail art". I got inspired by one of the pins from The Beauty Department on Pinterest and went from there. I have NEVER painted my nails white and I thought it would be really odd and hard to get  used to, but I actually really like it! This look is super bright and perfect for summer.

Neon is a HUGE trend this Spring and Summer season. It may not be for everyone, but personally I love it and I can't wait to join in with the trend! Here are a few of my top picks on how I would rock the neon trend, with the Rebecca Minkoff being first on my list!

BIRCHBOX | Gossip Girl May Edition!

I finally got my first box from Birchbox and it was the Gossip Girl edition. Usually they arrive at the beginning of the month, but I signed up for the service towards the end of the month so it took a little longer. Basically you pay $10 a month and they send you a cute little box with high end sample sized products (Nars, Juicy, Stila, Benefit, Essie to name a few!) To be honest, I wasn't completely impressed with this box. I think I was expecting samples that related more to Gossip Girl since it was a special edition, but I do really like the LipFusion lip balm and the hand cream. I am definitely going to continue to subscribe to this service because I've seen some amazing boxes with great samples so I hope I get a good one next month!

FOOD FRIDAY | Chicken Kabobs

Today's Food Friday features Tablespoon's Chicken Kabob Caesar Salad (recipe here). Just looking at these pictures makes me hungry! It was so quick and easy to make (minus some burned peppers) and anything cooked on a grill tastes 10x better than in an oven. I'll definitely be making these again!
